i like the fact maxine has skin in the game. they seem to turnover staff quite a bit but likely due to the nature of the industry - the demographics of the work force, salary levels and level of skill required. the leadership style seems suited to a young "place to be" dynamic culture however the SHAW business will need more respect for standards, systems and skilled staff so the passion maxine seems to have around personal standards and presentation i believe should be transferable to that business. Key for me is that she is very entrepreneurial and likely to thrive again away from having a company like TLS to have to negotiate with periodically. i am hopeing Artisan will look like fone zone 2.0 in terms of growth and relevance to its customers.
