maybe your a trader and don't understand.if you were an investor you would know that political issues are vital to your decision making process.

for example,in the late 80's the common view was that japan would be the next power and america was finished.those
that followed that view failed.those that rejected that view had a chance.the big world issues are very important to investors.if your a trader you can simply ignore the general forum.although,i would argue it's important for traders as well-better to swim with the stream.

for investors, it's a bit different.picking a stock in the 90's was very difficult in japan.it helps to know what's going on in the world.
