Not 100% sure but I think you'll find it was probably done to keep some of the bigger shareholders who were only interested in the oil and gas happy so it could get re-admitted and then we are seeing the slow transition where some of the holders were probably given a chance to sell out before things change.
They may use the o&g assets they have in some manner but I believe there will be a change in direction at some stage. DYOR
