3 people went to buy a watch each, the watches cost $10 each but because they are buying 3 watches he will give them a discount of $5 on the 3 watches.
So each person gave the shop assistant $10 and the assistant gave each person $1 change, and all 3 people agreed to give the remaining $2 as a tip to the shop assistant.
So all watches cost $9 x 3 = $27 + $2 tips to s/assistant …Total $29 , so were is the other $1 ?
