there is a budget problem and it should be addressed in a reasonable manner.
It would seem by the policies of this Government the budget emergency only applies to the people on welfare or with low incomes.
They are asked to give up a greater percentage of their incomes or benefits.
This is unfair and counter productive.

labor is helping by saving the LNP and this country from the effects of many of these measures.
An example
There are NOT enough jobs in this country for all the people unemployed,even if the unemployed moved to where there are jobs it is estimated there is only 1 job for every 10 people unemployed......I am not sure of the exact numbers but I have seen these estimations.
So when someone finishes school or looses their job and they are under 30 how are they to survive.Many do not have the family or friend options.
They have 2 options if they can not get a job......charity or crime.
This measure is counterproductive to our society?
Labor,the greens,pup and other independence are trying to make legislation reasonable.
