Can the Matildas go all the way?
The Matildas best World Cup finish was back in 2015 when they were knocked out in the quarterfinals.
After their victory in Sydney tonight the question is, can they go one better?
If ever there was a time to go all the way, it’s this tournament - they’ve arguably got the best Matildas team we’ve ever seen, and it’s a tournament on home soil.
A great confidence boost for the team (and the fans) seeing Sam Kerr take to the field, even if it was just for the final 10 minutes, along with Courtnee Vine, Clare Polkinghorne and Tameka Yallop in those final minutes.
