    An excellent assessment pow4ade,

    More completely outplayed by Sweden than in the England game I reckon. In AFL terminology, we hardly won a 'contest'. In the England game, the Poms on quite a few occasions sent the long high ball right over the back for their attackers to run onto and most times we were beaten with pace to stay with them. I can barely remember us trying that strategy at all, as you say, it was all down the flanks. Our defence v Sweden was horribly fragile. Mary Fowler who has a touch of class, did struggle to get involved, may develop a harder edge as she gets older. A real eye opener to see how tough and aggressive The Swedes and Poms were and they have a LOT of skilled players
