Indeed stoplosses - if the Calleja Bros were that way inclined it is certainly a strategy they could take.

They certainly have ESI over a barrel as without the IP ownership who wants to sign billion dollar deals with you - non of the big boys and girls that's for sure.

There are a few adjectives I can think of to describe ESI's position with regard IP
- between a rock and a hard place
- in a delicate position
- without hand
- bent over a barrel
- back against the cliff

However, that doesn't mean ESI won't pull it off. There is also self interest for the Calleja Bros to have the technologies commercialisation crystalised asap.
