Sorry to differ in opinion, but I saw Reloaded today and was extremely disappointed. The humour and slickness of the original one had been totally taken over by excessive CGI (which looked like an arcade game), reams of gobbledygook philosophy, and confusion and inconsistency reigning above all. Fight scenes, while ground breaking in violence and wire-manoevers, seemed less real and you felt like you were seeing a video game rather than a movie. The only thing that got my blood up was the motorbike chase up the wrong way of the freeway, and only because I ride a bike and know how bloody hard it would have been to do that stunt.

I am huge scifi fan and felt Xmen2 was a great movie (rated a 9 out of 10 - one of the few times a sequel has ever lived up). This should have been issued as Matrix Bloated - I give it a 3 out of 10.

My summary is that they have got to pull something extraordinary out of the Revolutions move to wind up all the loose ends and the Wachowski brothers have clearly lost their touch with the audience.

Thumbs down - but will take a fortune at the box office as the hype was huge. Village might even get its money back on the deal.
