Yes it does not look as hopeful as the AFR article speculated. Given the most recent share price close of 22 cents though it feels like it should be a positive development. If the earnings of AIS implied are about right, a tie up of some sorts could be good. Maybe the pause in trading now suggests they might formalise their proposal soon so we get to know more details whatever they may be.
