"
Wotsup, you have failed to "Show me one verse from the Bible that has the word 'προσκυνέω' (proskuneo) in it."
Get to the Interlinear, and what I copy/pasted you you, shows up on Many verses.
"original word"
------------
"
So come on Tonio, show me the words in 11 that say Jesus was recognized as, or worshiped as God or a God, any time you're ready. "
"Wotsup,
I have already showed you.
The word προσεκύνησαν which means worshipped is only used 12 times in the Bible, each time it is used for the worship
of true God or false gods."
Tonio, Tonio -> lights on, focus and LOOK at my words above, YES actually LOOK at them.
So, you have shown me ZERO, no words in the verse that he was worshiped
as God or a God.
------------------
"After the cross, he Became a begotten God."
"Wotsup your statement above is unbiblical."
Are you trying to tell all here on H'/C that John 1:18 is lying????????????
The truth of 1:18 also confirms Jesus's words in 17:3, where he independently references the Father as the Only true God when he was here and that you cannot refute, from Jesus's words there (independently aspect) and maintain truth.
Isa 43.10
King James Bible
Ye
are
my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I
am
he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Oh my, your feet must be getting sore, shooting yourself in the foot again.
Context, context, context, just like real estate, location, location............
1 Cor 8:5, 6 - For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
John Ch 10 - Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods” ’?
If He called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),
Jesus says -> I ascend to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.
BANG, into Tonio's foot the bullet goes.
Clearly as per the above, there were/are other God's.
So the context of your quote is clearly, "neither after me" is as per like him, One God overall, who is the Father of all etc, none whatsoever like him will come after him.
Jesus is now a Begotten God under The God and Father, who put all things under him until death no more, when Jesus then hands the Kingdom to the God and Father and is then subject to him, that put all things under him, SO THAT God (Father) maybe all in all.
But hey, lets continue on a bit from your quote, you know that whole truth stuff that makes the likes of you shudder LOL
18-
Do not call to mind the former things, Or consider things of the past.
19 - Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
-----------------
And lo - Behold, NO blessings whatsoever in Jesus's
words
for Thomas"
"Wotsup, anyone who believes that Jesus is Lord and God is blessed.
Thomas was no exception.
All the Apostles were blessed , the ones that doubted in their hearts and also Thomas who voiced his doubt."
Tonio, YOU are ADDING words to Jesus's.
In the verse in question, the ONLY ones that Jesus said there were blessings for, was for those that without seeing Jesus but believed he rose from the dead, THE context of the entire passage, without seeing him, like Thomas did.
So in effect, Thomas is getting a dressing down, as he insisted on seeing and touching, before he would believe, not like others in the future etc that would be blessed.
--------------------
"
All came to believe that Jesus was their Lord and God and Jesus blessed them and they worshipped him."
Jesus was not glorified until after his 40 days, hence until then he was not a Begotten God, just as his CLEAR words show in John 17:3 as do Paul's 1 Cor 8:6 and so on.
Lord yes, but God = your complete ADDING to the messages, words that are simply NOT there.
Just because he may have been worshiped, does not make him God.
I provided you with the CLEAR Bible and obvious truth as to what Thomas was referencing with his words - My Lord (Jesus) and my God (Father dwelling IN Jesus).
You cannot refute that the verses I quoted (John 17:3, 14:5, 10), clearly support this = the very reason you have ignored this clear truth and not addressed it.
You are letting your planted seeds, interpret for you and Not letting the clear Bible verses, do the talking.
