A JV partner certainly wouldn’t be a bad thing, especially a battery maker or a company with such a division under their umbrella.

We may have lost sight of the economy offered by scale a bit too- especially on the KNP.. increasing automation etc is only making things cheaper as we go ahead & as for sulfate deposits? Almost all the exisiting ones are in or entering the zone of diminishing return because they’ve gotten the easy stuff out a long time ago, just like the oil people, ‘we’re better at finding it now’- yeah, through sheer necessity & the application of more money.

The US gov. has been putting money in to laterite processing for that very reason & our own CSIRO has been working to make the refining process cheaper too.

The US in particular see something coming & if there was ever an over reaching body of investigation, planning & execution, ( though cumbersome/expensive, being gov. related but that doesn’t matter to us- we aren’t the debt laden US taxpayer ), that we could look to I don’t think we can go wrong with them.
