watso is ashamed to admit it - but 25 years ago, watso paid $2000 for a mattress

anyway, watso was in aldi this morning, and mattresses were walking out of the door - but they were in boxes . it seems that that when the mattress is "unwrapped" - it springs into shape

$250 was mentioned as a price (or maybe it was $299)... it would be in the catalogue - but watso just asked

if watso was the marketing manager for aldi, then a blow up doll/mattress combo would have been on offer .

We have had our “bed in a box”
Mattress for a couple of years now, admittedly as a guest bed & it is very comfortable. Some friends have stayed on it for a week or so & my husband & I used it for about a month & found it great except the only complaint is because it did come out of a box the sides are not firm at all so when you sit on the edge you tend to skip off. Apart from that it is exceptional value for money

Very uncomfortable. We bought, on line, a queen sized for Mrs J. and I, and a single for one of the boys. We all found them really uncomfortable, worse than the antiques we’ve been sleeping on for years. We gave them a three month trial.

But all kudos to Koala, who refunded all the money without question, as promised, under their 120 day returns policy.

Most people seem happy with them, clearly just not our type.
