I don't doubt than many have signed up hoping to recoup their entire loss, plus some, for damages and the 21st centuries "emotional trauma" claim..
Then there's the "I'm only doing this to send a message to the corporations".
Either way, good luck with that..
Actual out of pocket expenses incurred by the firms along the way can be mostly administrative and base wage related, so somewhat, minimal. Their mark-up as things progress can be, um, obscene..
