We either accept that Troy has been able to screw a deal finally out of them OR take our own class action and the 95c.
The settlement is between Trojan & CMI, not CMIPC shareholders. I am no legal eagle but I have heard situations where the plaintiff can be substituted or joined by others.
The proceedings were for, " damages for oppression, discriminatory & prejudicial conduct " seeking a range of relief including winding up.
All that has happened at moment is that directors have side stepped the possibly of incurring the wrath of the court in return for making discount buy back offer for CMIPC. The big winner, as shown in its continuing price climb is the CMI ordinary shares.
