Bomby they have only drilled one salt dome, that was Chinguetti. All other drills have been other geological plays. Banda was in the same sand channel as Ching but not fractured by a salt dome. It is about formation of oil and trapping of oil. That is why they call them hydrocarbon provinces.

What sailorgirl is saying is that salt domes are looking good and plenty more to drill.They are basically a firmed up play in that area. ie POS on salt domes is now high to very high thanks to Ching, They still need to determine where the oil has migrated from to really strike bonanza in Mauritania.
