lost faith on brokers Through my kids playing sport, I have met many parents - one of whom is a Broker.

Many times we have discussed shares and in passing I have mentioned Hardman. This broker only deals in what he calls 'Blue Chip' - the likes of WPL and BHP. He is a technical analyst.

A couple of times he mentioned that he would give me a discount if I traded through him - well, last night I was considering this. I started to talk to him about the price of HDR shares and how I thought they had been over sold - particular comapred to WPL who are the operators - his response was the market knows best. I then proceeded to talk to him about Mauritania, Chinguetti and the reduced number of barrels they are taking from the sight - he said to me he did not know what I was talking about.

I then thought - There is no way I will be going to him for advice.

Brokers are just people - some good and some BAD - watch out.
