I felt the idea of a big up night in the US as extreme but not impossible.

So I shorted the spike and have now exited for a gain.

Yes, probably will see lower but can sleep easy.

I see the markets as more positive than neutral but not enough to leave on longs overnight yet and not convinced about anything more than single days down to seriously short.

I am finding it weird not to always carry an overnight position, but my bottom line says it is working.

I am leaning to carrying that position when all the ducks line up but not otherwise. Feels strange but working for now.

Who says you can't teach old dogs....
