Great stuff Max. Good to have someone else to bounce softs ideas off. I am currently long feeder cattle (Nov 08) and live cattle (Jun 09).

I am spewing about rice. I was long last year and saw it as the best way to play water shortages in the future. I think I took a .10 profit at around the 10.50 mark!!!!!! Ah well ...

What do you think about the opinion I have heard that sugar needs to take out its all time high (67 cents I think)? Same goes for cotton ... I reckon both crops will lose to the grains this year in terms of area. Especially India and its sugar sector. Second largest sugar producer globally yet there is a rice crisis? Crazy ... I think that will change in spectacular fashion. There is an end user boom in grain storage underway now too as they are moving from hand to mouth consumption to trying to build 'buffer' stocks.
