Hottuna, you really do reveal your ignorance in this field of back pain. You don't know what you're talking about.

A peer review does not involve "paying to attend a conference."

I doubt that the conference was "largely populated" by anaesthetists, but I agree there would have been very many there. Who do you think injects spines if not anaesthetists? Radiologists do also. And of course neurological surgeons and orthopods and pain specialists. But spinal injections are everyday procedures for anaesthetists, and I do mean every day. If you want the needle to go where it's meant to, they're good people to have around. Why do you imply this as "evidence" that the conference was not credible?

No chiropractors legally inject spines. Maybe they do "share offices" with the SIS. I neither know or care who their neighbours are. Chiropractors, and especially osteopaths, can have a great deal more clinical respect in North America than those elsewhere in the world. Again, Why do you imply sharing offices as "evidence" that the conference was not credible?

Thank you for your suggestion that I should do some research of my own. Unlike your recent skim of the topic I have been a follower of the Spine Intervention Society for decades through my interest in the work of Emeritus Prof. Nikolai Bogduk, Newcastle Uni. (NSW) and his work in whiplash injuries. He was a founding member of this society almost 30 years ago. BTW, chiropractors quote his work. They aren't totally ignorant of spine conditions and they possibly gain from physical proximity with the society's office. Something wrong with that?

Your "research" should have uncovered the following:
"With over 2,600 members, the Society comprises physicians from multiple specialties: Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiology, Neurology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Neurosurgery."

Not one chiropractor mentioned. The Board includes one osteopath (North American standard).

Everybody is entitled to contribute to this board but it would be a good idea if people did not pretend authority in technical fields where they have no expertise. That misleads many and wastes the time of people who have to correct the misdirection.
