No smart trader would short here.
Yep, the market can go lower BUT unless this is a crash it is poor odds.
You hold your shorts and add on a bounce.
It may be that a bounce is more than a bounce, but that is the risk you take.
The impression I get is that almost everyone is short. That is not a great position to short.
Yes, in the middle part of a move, the consensus can often be correct, but poor odds IMO.
