When you read back over all the presentations and releases - It sounds to me as though they will isolate and perforate somewhere in Alameda with the expectation that A3 will produce from that area (not lower in Marti). For this reason, I think the second core may someone relate to that objective. Either that, or they are seeing whether pososity is consistent across a wider section / depth of Alameda.

Certainly would be nice for the company to let us in on what they are thinking.

Continuing on from that: I guess what I am saying / guessing is that given that their aim is to produce in A3 from the N Sheet, maybe they are being more cautious in Alameda and taking extra cores. This will allow them to more accurately isolate and perforate to identify the best production zone.

Just a guess.
