I always find it difficult when looking at it like that. I tend to think of extensions as having similar size waves to that of the wave of a larger degree. The entire wave structure is 5 waves, but wave 3 is sub-divided into the larger waves, if that makes sense? Making it hard to determine the actual count because it looks like 9 waves.
I read it as being in the 3rd of the 3rd of the 3rd (daily), doesn't necessarily mean it is an extension, could just be smaller waves appear visible on the daily, i.e. wave 1 is sub divided into 5 waves etc. etc.
If you take it out to a weekly or monthly, it looks like we are starting the 3rd wave. What happens on those lower time frames tends to become irrelevant, for me anyways.
