Hi Flam, hmmm, I don't you are stupid nor ignorant and therefore suspect there's a little gamesmanship going on, no? ;-)
Some of the variables in the Horner plot posted are already established, else how would McDaniels be able to sign off on a resource estimate, contingent or otherwise?
Accepting that they then give the %cos as x, y & z is enough for me to set risk level accordingly..
1A flowed yes? 1B is also part of the 8.5 inch cssing string and hence can't be flowed in isolation. Unit 2 is 7 inch and unit 3 6.5 inch..
AP, whilst he may have confused some by the vague grammatical structure of the ann in question has since gone to explain in greater detail the flow test & cased hole testing plan which seems logical when you have a little think about it.
VOGC has kindly donated his time and effort into explaining what the pri & sec porosity values are likely to be and this sits in line with the 300 or so carbonate reservoirs measured globally to date.
Well radius is given with ref to the size of the casing & no doubt the pore pressure gradient is well known by now as this is hole no. 2, but answers won't be published until made official by said tests. However the successful drilling down to 1597m which demonstrated similar pressure etc as to that encountered in A-1 gives you a general feel for how it is looking..
Bout the only thing that hasn't been commumicated in a full technical sense (and I don't know if it ever will having worked in the industry under CA's) is the quality of oil and associated properties. We are told samples are in the lab. So upon analysis of that, along with 4 key core samples taken at each unit & including 2 in unit 1 A/B, plus the full suite of Open & Cased Hole flow testing you will have the information..
Personally I don't see where any deviation has occured other than to flow 63m worth of prod reservoir to surface at only 500m depth.
Which in AP's own words was described as having little chance of success, but then performed above expectations..
So what does allude to with regard to the probability of other suucess factors also outperforming.. I'd say it hardly detracts now does it?
Like a high stakes poker game this.. You wonder whether to read the play at the table or the man behind the bluff? ;-)
gltah to all holders and don't forget to celebrate what has so far been a bloody good week all up..
& if anyone asks tell em h8tey sent ya hehe
Cheers big ears!
