Share price was up over a few days just prior to resource announcement. Touched 12.5 before settling around 11 cents after announcement.
Constant selling now is driving price down.
Does someone know why? Drill result indications? Any plausible explanation?
Even at a safe $10 in ground for value of oil and say 50% oil sharing with Cuba, with the resources identified, price should be between 12-15 cents. In addition, some value must also be attributed to Marti.
I do not think that price is being manipulated.
This is a small company after all and probably not worth the effort of the big players.
Suspect market is unwilling to be excited about the discovery of oil by the company till they see $$$ in the bank.
If it is a company maker, as some on this forum feel, then the big players can buy back in, albeit at higher prices, once the production is commenced / nears commencement.
Those with big holdings here on the forum may have a long wait ahead to see the $$$ roll in- if all goes well.
A bit like Vintage energy - recent news of project delay led to sharp drop in price but slowly it is coming up; will change once gas flows.
Same situation with May; we need to have dates on when oil will start flowing and some tangible actions for significant price movement.
