There is definitely movement at the station, the question is has the colt bolted and are we at TD or drilling into the prized Marti reservoir. News will likely be imminent.
We are dealing with potentially serious pressures in the Marti even in the upper units. This is what drilling in these formations is all about. Big prizes and high risk. Blow outs in the GOM are common with deeper units where over pressures occur. What we have is unique as it's fractured and heavily folded/thrusted.
Getting oil from 100m down to 4km is rare, looking at the trend it's possible that the daisy chain effect is in play.
