There are two sides to EBA agreements, and BSL is one of the parties.
The other side is just as capable of intimidation and blackmail, and many years of published union history show this to be true. Union power is all the more potent when capital intensive processes that are costly to start and to stop are involved. Companies more often "buy" a peaceful outcome at a cost, which is not good for Australia's ability to compete.
