Done this myself a few times to jump the queue to get in when the bid has big volume on the top line. Today in the auction anybody could drop a bid at 13 and end getting it at 12.5 jumping the queue sitting at the 12.5 bid. Bit of risk they tip it to the high side but they're predictable. Their see-saw price match and tilt up or down at last nanosecond game sometimes works for us.
