What ARU do have a shortage of is clean resource - in their lastest presentation the "Nolan Project Flowsheet" chart has an output of "Thorium Residue". Page 10 of the Ansto report they released on the 16/5 shows they have 0.1% thorium for every 1% REO content - therefore if they plan to produce 20,000 t pa of REO they will have residue that contains 2,000t of thorium - and looking at the flow chart it does not contain much else. What are they going to do with that?
