Yes I fully understand aboout dilution but who cares if you are turning 100k into 2.6 million return over 10yrs. Maybe I only need 10million capital but the high returns I will achieve means dilution is negligible.
If you look at ALB on the asx, they decided not to dilute and nearly lost the whole company. We are all being diluted by 70% just to keep the whole operation alive.
Its far easier to raise excess capital initially than cry help in a sinking ship.
I see what you are saying about return on investment. Number crunchers would try and squeeze water out of a desert to save cash or reduce dilution and that mentality has been the undoing of manny companies.
I just see the logic in over raising in order to protect investors who back me. Its far better to loose 15% of a large investment due to unforseen curcumstances than be wiped out. I would rather my ship be scratched than sunk.
I might even bypass investment bankers totally, I already have a number of company directors asking for a prospectus.
