Everything was on the iron ore boom and the massive profits to be made from the 1.8 billion tonnes of iron ore at Mount Ida. Tshipi wasn't worth that much and JMS had an offer for their interest at about A$180 million. Everything reversed at once with the iron ore price collapsing and Tshipi moving into losses.
One thing I've learned to ignore is this phrase, "It's different this time" it never is, it's always the same.
