According to environmental and mining authorities in Western Australia, the waste slurry generated from the chemical processing and flotation of the rare earth ores at Lynas Corporation’s Mt Weld concentrator plant is radioactive. The radiation is primarily due to the thorium and uranium content of the ore. Thorium is 500 ppm and Uranium is 30 ppm.

Latest Report from PEK places Ngualla's levels at : Thorium 37ppm and uranium 17 ppm.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but one of the major issues confronting Rare Earth miners is the cost both financially and environmentality of mining REE's because of Radioactive issues? Mt Ngualla's levels look quite low compared to the famous Mt Weld. Maybe Ngualla could even be better?
