Cardia supplied the trial, so one would expect them to be in the pound seat for the contract - the Cardia China personnel are likely to be in negotiations as we speak, if they have not already finalised the deal.

Here are my calculations from an earlier post based on a full city contract:

The Nanjing trial equates to a permanent contract of around $19m per year...

The latest trial is 2-3 times bigger. Permanent contract estimate = $40-60m per year...

So 40% of Nanjing is nothing to be sneezed at for starters - that's $7.6m revenue.

Then we have the second larger trial which is only about a month behind the Nanjing trial.

If the Nanjing contract is confirmed, it makes it that much more likely that the second bigger trial will also be converted.

Looking forward to an announcement from Cardia very soon. Watch the ST traders get ready to swoop. Good news is, if the contract is confirmed, it doesn't matter if the ST traders go for the pump and dump, nothing beats a contract! So we are likely to see a bunch of new medium to long termers join the fray.
