Robert is an acknowledged author with a huge following It would be my dream to speak with him personally.. I believe sincerely his credentials are bonafide and I will stand behind his philosophies 100 percent. In an earlier post on Hot Copper , I admitted I had 25 percent of my portfolio in svl and was knocked for it.
Well when you travel a journey in your car do you split your children so that you don't have all your assets in one vehicle... do you own 4 houses so that if one burns down, you have 75 percent equity in the others. Life doesn't give up like that for man or woman,
whoever you may be. Two years ago I had a cardiac arrest outside a restaurant while on my bicycle. Luckily for me, the restaurant I was in was chockers full of doctors and though I sustained 32 minutes without a pulse. 4 days in an induced coma, am here and now. I need no advice about proportioning my super portfolio conservatively or otherwise.
