with the CoronaVirus spreading (with rippling effects on trade, travel, supply chains, business confidence and debt servicing) and the Dow down almost 2,000 points over 2 consecutive days without any sort of ‘dead cat bounce’ whilst junk bond status just exploded in many sectors ...
someone thought ... “hmmm, now is the time to sell my precious metal assets” (?!) ...
(it had to be forced selling of those on margin ... otherwise ... enter the twilight zone)
