Tony999, Maybe it's just Qld. A self employed family member is in the building industry located in the North and Western Suburbs of Melbourne and he couldn't be any busier. These areas are now the most affordable and expanding at a rapid rate. He could work 7 days a week if he wanted to with no slow down in sight. Not bad considering he makes $2K-$3K a week.
Another good friend who has built a business hiring and training hospitality staff has successfully expanded his business into every state of Australia. Saw him last night and asked how business was considering the "economic crisis". His reply .."Flat out, can't get enough people, what recession??"
