Aussie Joe they knew about the finance, but there was the 'reasonable efforts' clause that said provided the company made a reasonable effort to source finances, they would get the extension (not a roll over, just a few months extension). Seems a bit vague to have a contract with such a subjective clause. Not that I believe Michelmore had made a reasonable effort to seek financing lol. They made no disclosure about their efforts to finance through other means, so maybe there were none..
