Phoxx.....Did any of those other companies also have takeover offers on the table at the time they went belly up ? This is an important factor in all of this. Who's to say the buyer might be minmetals enjoying a lovely discount for an even tastier bargain. Getting more meat from the carcas fuelled by panic & fear ? Really who really knows tonight and will we be anmy the wiser tomorrow. If they haven't secured the asset sales by tomorrow or even now.....it can be considered a forced sale. What then are OZL's chances of achieving the 450mil ? That is a condition of the 82.5c offer. if the assets aren't sold ...then they might be entitled to submit another offer ! Judging by today's SP,unless those useless clowns make an announcement to halt the SP slide..the new offer could be BUY one GET ONE FREE for 35c ? Who knows ? They might make a movie about this...the OZTANIC !!!!!!
