Actually Sweden has almost certainly the only Libertarian finance minister in the world.
When IMF insisted countries borrow more in the GFC, Sweden cut their expenditure by cutting welfare and bringing in tax cuts.
The result...very little debt, tax cuts that more than paid for themselves, and reasonable growth (one of the best in Europe and higher than Australia's).
