The bots are all over this again today. And the bot-driven close was a disgrace.... pushed the closing price down 2 cents by a single share. A computer-generated order was placed on the sell side for exactly one share more than the top two buy orders, nudging the matched price down two cents.
Total volume was only low today. Most of the trades were bots, with trades being from 1 to 4 shares only, and most labelled 'B', which I think under the new system means that it was a trade initiated by a 'Buy' order from the computer, as opposed to 'S' trades..
But, as always, the day-to-day fluctuations are only annoyances. I too have been in this one since below 2 cents, and intend to remain in it. One of the best-run businesses on the ASX, with a wonderful growth story.
