How about a left field strategy.
If you think about all those millions those key executives have taken out of Macquarie, especially Moss, and if the share price is forced down to about the $10 mark this would mean that Macquarie would be capitalised at $2-$3 billion. Now would be the best time that you will see a privatisation of any company since the 1970's.
To think that the government has provided bank guarantees that could potentially fund it while shareholders have lost billions since the crisis began. Watch the share price sink, take it to the brink, delist it and reap billions on the relisting years later.
