II agree Sub, now is not the best timing for an annoucement. But for f.ck sake, at least inform the market (which is nervous enough) about how things are going.
I think most (genuine LT) holders don't actually want the deal to be finalise NOW. They want to know how things are progressing. It is not un unreasonable request and if things are going nicely, it shouldn't be an issue for management, should it?
