For this, they also receive an additional fee from their corporate clients.
Their expertise regarding No.2 is to be able to market content/utilities/information/entertainment apps to mobile users for a monthly/weekly fee. They are specialists at digital marketing, sales conversion and extracting $$$ over the customer lifetime.
That's it.
They are not a payments company any more than they are a telephone operator or handset manufacturer.
