The average spot price since the Ardlethan Tin Project commenced in June 2001 was US$4,350 and the low since then was US$3,595 in September 2001. The A$ price has also surpassed A$8,000 per tonne, a price rarely seen since the Ardlethan project commenced production. The average A$ spot price since June 2001 was A$7,500. The spot price on 18 December was A$8,250 per tonne. A chart of the tin price since 1989 is enclosed.
