I own both MBL and PMN like you say....but I also included OMP into the mix to balance my overweight positions in oil, resources, gold and uranium and whatever else I have...and I added MFS to counter MBL's lack of short-term performance...

I figure that with oil on the long-term rise, commods on the long-term rise, the only things left unaffected by inflation/interest rate increases will be health care (i have none), insurance (mergers likely) and media (news corp etc)...and international infrastrucure

MBL are a good bet for this reason long-term because they are not as affected by an increase in local interest rates as they go into deals with an International financier from wherever they can get the best rates and partnership strengths from. I dumped all local banks for MBL and MFS. P

Perforance fees talk and dumping MIG is all noise...it is no co-incidence that British hedge funds came and proposed whatever foulish attempt to oust MBL from MIG after the LSE bid to purely benefit from short-term price manipulation of the stock...that's what they do...!!!

Just look at commods...it's a hedge funds casino...they come in together...drive it up and leave you, I and us hanging with it...

Sometimes you can beat them but 4/5 times you don't...I am going to stick to my longer term strategy with short-term modifications according to international politics and business...not opportunistic hedge funds...





i think it's funny how local funds and reporters try to compare MBL's now solid international model to Babcock and Brown...MBL have first move advantage and in the UK here everyone is talking about them after the LSE bid...they have hedge funds lining up at the door...
