What you're referring to are the phase IIb trials .... not phase III....if/when they reach phase III, they will most probably seek a partner to fund the trials as they will not have any cash left by then.
But first, we need the 3 mnth animal toxicity studies to show all is safe to go ahead with phase IIb.
