    I believe that Metabolic has shown that it DOES work for ACV1, at least in animal models, with efficacy comparable to the injected version. If it works in the animal models, there is every reason to believe that it will work in humans as well.

    As for the wider use of the peptide oral delivery platform, this is indeed a huge sleeper, and what will ultimately govern whether it is of value is whether the methodology is patentable, and if so if a suite of patents can be devised that will adequately protect Metabolics technology in this area. The value of such a technology is enormous, and you can bet the barn that the big guys will try to set up their own programs.

    Since insulin is not patented, it should be an immediately available proof-of-principle project for Metabolic. If Metabolic can come up with an efficaceous oral insulin, it would be unimaginably huge.

    Then, Metabolic will have to fight to keep control of the technology. You can be sure that the big guys will have their attorneys out in force trying to break the little guy's patents.
