I think ur getting confused with other alternative private business entities which are suitable for the likes of MCB …proprietary Ltd etc.
If the greenies have been successfully in changing corp behaviour, there is hope to change the rules for a PUBLIC company as it used to be!

One of the feeble excuses to introduce poll voting was the closer scrutiny by larger holder’s on board members. In affect it was the BOD’s not wanting to allow the plebs activists from denying their remunerations and why the poll voting was introduced. . Now the BOD have trapped themselves, caused recent changes to corp act, resulting in them having left no avenues to escape the grips off the ‘likes of activists MCB.
The majority of the shareholders can’t even rescue the BOD even if they wanted too!
