I have. But you obviously haven't. You totally fail to differentiate between the product {shares) and the market (stockbrokers).
Sharemarkets began as outdoor public markets - no different to those selling vegetables or fish. Stockbrokers were just auctioneers who shouted out buy and sell offers until a match was made.
Shares - the product being sold - gave owners the right town a certain part of the buiness. Voting rights were always based on the fraction of ownership.
If you don't even understand the most basic concepts you shouldn't be ranting on HC.
