It is poorly written by treasury dept….and many BOD are exploiting its flaws.
Why could I get the printed Annual Report at the height of Covid and be denied the Notice of Meeting…the annual report consisting of about 100 pages must have had specially gone thru a decontamination process compared to about the 20 pages in the Notice of Meeting!
Even now I get a pamphlet or letter by a registry company directing me on how to get a printed copy of the NOM. Yet they abide by my communication preference to get the printed Annual report

One of the companies that I have shares in, have used the loop hole in the poorly written listed public section to run a virtual only meeting.
The flaw of the type of meeting held is determined by the constitution; - allowable by the recent amendment to the Corp Act - the majority shareholdings dictated the type of meeting to be held even if the majority of shareholders were against it!
